(You might have known us as the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Green Valley in Amado, but we have a new name & emerging identity.) We welcome the Rev. Dr. Tom Owen-Towle
to our congregation March 9-10 to lead HOMESTRETCH: The Art of Finishing Life Well 8:30am-3:30pm and return the next day to speak at our Sunday worship at 10am. This workshop (including lecture, personal reflection, and discussion) will assist seniors in balancing core pursuits as self-possession and solitude, quest and soul-work, joy and service, legacy and farewell. "Early Bird" registration before March 1 is $35 per person After March 1 it is $40 per person Check or cash must accompany registration |
A box lunch from the Firefly Restaurant is included in registration. Choices are a Greek lamb and beef gyro or roasted season vegetable gyro with a gluten free option.
Rev. Tom, a parish minister since 1967, has authored two dozen books on personal relationships and spiritual growth. Two of his volumes focused on conscious aging and mindful dying will be available for purchase.
